Cancellation by the consumer
Our transaction cancellation policy complies with the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transactions) Law, 2016. According to the law, a transaction can be canceled by notifying the event organizer within 14 days from the date of the transaction, provided that the cancellation is made no later than 7 days, excluding rest days, before the event date. After canceling the transaction, the customer is entitled to a refund within 14 days from the date of receiving the cancellation notice, based on the actual amount paid, less a cancellation fee of 5% of the transaction price or 100 NIS, whichever is lower. According to Amendment No. 47, 2016, a transaction can be canceled by a consumer who is a person with a disability, a senior citizen, or a new immigrant within 4 months from the date of the transaction, provided that they present a document indicating their status as a person with a disability, a senior citizen, or a new immigrant. Notwithstanding the above, it is clarified that the event organizer bears the cost of credit card processing fees for the transaction (credit clearing fee). In any case of cancellation, the event organizer will not refund the cost it incurred for the transaction, which is approximately 5% of the credit card transaction amount or 100 NIS, whichever is lower.
Cancellation/change/postponement of the event by the conference organizers
Upon the occurrence of any circumstances due to which Angular TLV Conference organizers are unable to hold Angular TLV Conference as planned (the physical event, to take place on November 27th, 2024), including without limitation, due to a Force Majeure occurrence, Angular TLV Conference organizers shall be entitled to perform any changes to the event as it deems necessary, at its sole discretion, to enable the event to take place including without limitation, at a later stage, at a different place and/or in an alternative format. “Force Majeure” in this respect means any event reasonably beyond the control of Angular TLV Conference organizers, including, but not limited to wars, hostilities, Covid-19 restrictions, revolutions, riots, civil commotion, national emergency, strikes, unavailability of supplies, any governmental actions that result in the inability to perform the obligations hereunder, epidemics, pandemics, fire, flood, earthquake, force of nature, explosion, embargo, or any other Act of God, or any law, proclamation, regulation, ordinance, or other act or order of any court, government or governmental agency; In the case of cancellation of the event, conference organizers will offer a full refund for the purchase to all customers and sponsors of the event. If the conference is postponed to a different date , the ticket held by the customer will be valid for the new date of the conference , subject to a notice to be delivered by the conference organizers, according to the location of the event and according to the new date of the conference. In the event that the new date for the conference is not suitable for the customer, the customer charge will be canceled and he will be given a full refund for the purchase within 7 days from the date of the buyer's notification and/or cancellation of the event. *Refunds will not be issued on the day of the event or retroactively.
